The Fisher Wallace Stimulator® is cleared by the FDA and approved by MaineCare to treat depression, anxiety and insomnia and has been proven to be safe and effective in multiple published studies. The device may be obtained at no cost to Medicaid patients in the state of Maine.

The following chart from a 2015 clinical trial conducted with the device at Mount Sinai Hospital shows a lowering of depression symptoms from active treatment (blue line) versus a return to baseline in the placebo group (red line).

In a 392-subject pilot study conducted at Phoenix House, opioid addiction patients who used the Fisher Wallace Stimulator® reported improved mood and sleep and remained in rehab after 90 days at a rate 50% higher than those who did not use the device.
